BLOG#1 Artist Statement
Everyone has own stories to tell. I have got one too. I was born and grew up in a small county in Japan surrounded by richness of nature, such as pacific ocean, bay, mountains, and a lot of agricultural sights. I started learning English as my second language when I was 13 as a mandatory education carriculam at school. It was very beginning of my journey. I just LOVED learning English. For me, being able to communicate in English was a crucial gateway to communicate people all over the world. I dreamt exploring every county in the world, widening my perspectives, and making friends. They are still my motivations and course of inspirations. By the end of my high school life, instead of going a Japanese university, I decided to go to a prestigious training school in the city of Osaka to prepare myself attend college in the Unites States. After less than three years, here I am studying at Hunter with AA degree earned from SUNY community college in upstate New York! So...
